SWTOR Smuggler Guide Review

Sneak your way to the top with this infamous class guide thanks to KillerGuides!

Smugglers are fun to use when you actually know what in the world you’re doing. I mainly played the Smuggler because Han Solo was my idol. Anyway, not quite sure of what to do with a rogue-like class, I went and bought a SWTOR Smuggler guide from KillerGuides.

I did not expect the guide’s cover to be this detailed. It looked unbelievably professional (for an unofficial guide), I opened the downloaded PDF file and read its contents. For a price of $39.99 and without shipping fees and plus, it’s digital, why not?

I was shocked by the amount of deal the guide offered. With 80 pages of content, it was a true eye opener, really. This guide completely changed my game when hunting/questing for items, equipment optimization, plus, an easy to read leveling strategy. I always thought being a type of warrior or mage-like classes was the way to go but playing a rogue character, it was beyond enjoyable!

Another part of the guide was it’s immensely detailed walkthrough. Step by step I followed each sentence to get to my destination or to locate an item. It made my life much easier. Hey, that’s what rogues do: collect items!

The SWTOR Smuggler guide also provided an insight to the two advanced classes: Gunslinger and Smuggler. Although I haven’t thought about what class I would advance to but Gunslinger seemed very appealing. Blasting enemies with two blasters and being agile on my feet, hey, why not?

I can’t thank KillerGuides enough for opening my eyes and showing me there is more to a game than its intricate mechanics. Thanks a bunch!

Players should take a look at their awesome SWTOR guides bundle if you’re interested in knowing everything! I know I am!

The image of the smuggler is iconic thanks to the character of Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy. Since then, players have been able to either follow in the footsteps of Han or have a Han like character within their crew. The ability to play the smuggler with a heart of gold is taken to the top with the upcoming MMO offering from BioWare and LucasArts, that of Star Wars: the Old Republic. Based on the classic and popular Knights of the Old Republic game series, players can take their player choices higher than just having the skills that were offered if you chose to be a smuggler in the first game.

The Star Wars: the Old Republic Smuggler is a class that answers to no one; stealthy, cunning, and with the ability to adapt to any situation that they might find themselves in, the smuggler has the ability to take an enemy by surprise. Most often, their combat tactics aren’t predictable, which makes them unpredictable, as they can literally roll with the punches.

While their armor isn’t heavy nor fancy, it’s lose fitting, which allows them to move freely in their environment. A Star Wars: the Old Republic Smuggler class that answers to no one is a smuggler who is not only quick on their feet, but quick on the draw, as they are able to use customization within their clothing and weapons. Like any good Solo smuggler, players get their very own Wookie sidekick in the form of Bowdaar, an undefeated champ of the underground fighting rings.

Time will only tell of course if this Wookie will be as loyal as Chewie and Zaalbar or if he’s as psychopathic as Hanharr.

Players going for the smuggler class in TOR can chose the specializations of either a scoundrel or that of a gunslinger. For those Han fans, choosing to be a scoundrel means you get get everything you need to get in and get out – medipacks, a scattergun, and a stealth belt. Oh and you always shoot first. Gunslingers are never far from having two blasters in hand and are always quick on the draw.
